This is my first Mac - very happy with everything except the price, but worth it. I got up to speed in a few days and have no problem with this job and three other brands' systems on the same network. I leave the comments in depth other Tech, but I was very impressed by:

One of the major promises of modern computer technology is the prospect of smaller and smaller gadgets. This promise has been fulfilling in many ways. For example, mobile phones are not only more powerful than they used to be, but that power is built into much smaller handsets. The same miniaturization technology has been translated into gadgets like portable media players that essentially condense an entire home entertainment center- and all of the media that would go with it into a device that can fit in a pocket the same thing is true about computers. Dozens of times the computing power of a top of the line desktop computer can now be packed into a relatively cheap laptop. While the ability to pack more computing power into ever smaller gadgets is a noble goal, in some cases it can go too far. This is often the case when it comes to miniature laptop computers.

I had this netbook for 2 weeks before it stopped booting. Froze page BIOS and did not find the boot sector of the operating system. Whether or not there was a loose connector on the hard disk. I called Acer tech support, but they told me to restore from recovery CD. I explained that since this was a Netbook that no optical drive included with the system. She told me to start the recovery partition, even after I explained that the system does not recognize the hard drive. Ultimately, he offered to send me netbooks in Texas for repair, but I refused. Since it was within the 30-day warranty through the J & R I returned the machine for a full refund, rather than risk something goes wrong.

Wow This is a great machine.

I had already studied a series of netbooks, but never pulled the trigger. The small size of the screen / resolution (10 "/ 600p) and slow processor prevented me from buying. I would take that into account scroll down to see something. Slower than the processors would be limited. When I saw this laptop and read the reviews I decided to buy one.

Laptop computers allow you to take your work with you so you can access certain files, folders, and applications at your convenience. No longer will you have to stay late at the office or be confined to the desk at your own home. Simply upload any file to a disk or email and then download it to your laptop and take it with you. Portability is just one of the many benefits of owning laptop computer; here is a look at some of the others.
