I ordered ASUS UL30A-A2 last week with one day shipping so that I can do with Windows 7 ASAP. E 'come October 22 and the release date of Windows 7, and I am very satisfied. I have a lot of research on thin and light, with plenty of batteries and all the reviews I found was the ASUS UL30A the clear winner, with the Acer Aspire 3810T timeline directly behind it. I had my computer for less than 24 hours, but keep in mind that, here is my current rating:
Pro
- It 'very thin and very light. This is about half of Wight of my old Dell Inspiron, and the size is small enough to be truly portable and big enough for watching movies.
- I have not yet fully tested the battery life, but so far has been quite impressive.
- The screen is amazing, and comes with some of the most beautiful desktop images that I've ever seen. I'm really impressed.
- It's not hot. It 'was on my lap for hours at a time, while work
